A new rumor has indicated that several NHL teams are checking on the Edmonton Oilers' willingness to trade Leon Draisaitl.
Oilers Struggling To Contend Leaving Stars Frustrated
The Edmonton Oilers have infamously had a terrible start to their season. After firing head coach Jay Woodcroft the state of the franchise has been called into question. The Oilers' poor defense and goaltending have called into question if their current core is constructed to win.
Just last week Leon Draisaitl hinted that it has not been a good time playing for the Edmonton Oilers as of late.

With the Oilers' struggles and Draisaitl's perceived unhappiness with his situation, one NHL team has checked in on Draisaitl.
Eastern Contender Checks In On Draisaitl's Availability
With the struggles one contending team with a need for better center depth has been rumored to check in on Draisaitl. This rumor comes from noted NHL rumor insider Eklund of HockeyBuzz.com.
My sources tell me the Boston Bruins have made several calls regarding Leon Draisaitl, and see him as their main target should Edmonton decide, or should Leon Draisaitl decide, the road is coming to an end in Edmonton.
If the Oilers do decide they need to go in a different direction look to the Bruins as a main contender for Draisaitl. As the weeks go on the Oilers' success or failure could determine which way this rumor goes.
