The hits just keep on coming for struggling young Predators star Philip Tomasino.
Laid out at the line
Playing a game in St. Louis on Friday night, the Nashville winger was coming up ice and was gearing up to collect a pass along the right wall when just as the puck got to him, he hit a linesman.
With his head turned left, watching the puck on to his stick, Tomasino turned just as he crossed center ice and ran face first into the left shoulder of the official.
Tomasino, a first-round selection in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, was a healthy scratch for two games as he struggled earlier in the season.
With an assist on Friday, he has dealt out one helper in each of his last four games and has a goal and five assists in 12 games this season.
