BREAKING: Kirby Dach Suffers Season-Ending ACL/MCL Injury
Kirby Dach, a star for the Montreal Canadiens, has suffered a season-ending injury.
Dach Out For The Year
The worst has been confirmed for Canadiens star Kirby Dach. It has been revealed that he has injured his ACL and MCL which typically takes 6-12 months to heal.
Initial word I'm receiving on Canadiens' Kirby Dach is he has a torn ACL+torn MCL in his knee. There are more tests being done, and we'll wait for Habs to officially confirm once they're received all the info, but this puts Dach's season at risk if it ends up being the case.
Dach was traded to the Canadiens in 2022 and has proved to be one of their best players when healthy. He was gelling well with 2022 1st overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky.
Jared Tinordi took Dach out with this hit:
Dach will now likely undergo surgery and will wind up missing the rest of this season and potentially time next season.
