Breaking: Young Habs Star Injured Long-Term
The Montreal Canadiens shared some terrible news about one of their best players.
Young Habs' Star Sidelined Long-Term
Kirby Dach was injured in the Canadiens' home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He was missing from practice this morning:
"Kirby Dach, who suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday night's game, is not on the ice for #Habs practice this morning in Brossard."
Now, Eric Engels reported a worrying update:
"Kirby Dach has a significant injury. He's out long-term. Still being diagnosed, more coming in the next few hours or days--according to Habs."
Dach was arguably the Canadiens' best player against the Maple Leafs.
This comes at a terrible time. Dach missed several months last season for an injury and will once again be sidelined for a while.
This isn't good for the 22-year-old forward's development.
Let's hope that he can come back and play at the same level he displayed in the pre-season and the first game.
