The Toronto Maple Leafs have made another switch to their goal song. This comes just days after they debuted their original goal song Pursuit of Happiness. The switch comes after reports of complaints from fans.
Nick Alberga, host of Leafs Morning Take reported on X tonight that the Leafs will not be using the Kid Kudi song anymore after the team received complaints.
Don't expect to hear «Pursuit of Happiness» as the goal song for #LeafsForever games anymore. Told they won't be using it any longer this season.
Heard the Leafs received some complaints about the song's message and/or lyrics.

Also, «Dup Dup,» tonight's anthem, will be part of the goal song rotation moving forward.
The Maple Leafs will now go forward with Dup Dup as their anthem for the season. It is not currently known if the Maple Leafs will use this song full-time or if it is just a filler.
