Late in the first period Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly was injured and needed help from paramedics.
Period Ends Early After Kuraly Gets Injured
Late in the first period Sean Kuraly was sandwiched between two Maple Leafs. He later took a puck to the chest and rushed off the ice for his injury.
The game was paused for Kuraly's injury and the referees decided to end the period early as Kuraly was getting aided by paramedics.
The Blue Jackets later announced that Kuraly was doing fine and the paramedics were treating him precautionarily.
UPDATE: #CBJ F Sean Kuraly was injured late in the 1st period of tonight's game vs. Toronto. Medical personnel were alerted as a precaution. He is currently being evaluated at the arena.
