These past two seasons have not been friendly to the Philadelphia Flyers and their fan base. After believing that last seasons failure was due to injuries, the Flyers made some offseason trades and also brought in head coach John Tortorella to ''right the ship'' this season.
Well, here we are almost a full season later and the Flyers are 26th in the league and will be missing the playoffs for a second straight season.
They've already made a General Manager replacement this season after the firing of Chuck Fletcher who was highly criticized for not being active at the trade deadline.
Many fans believe that the team has ''lost their identity'' and the Broadstreet Bullies were a beloved name in Philly and was the true identity of Philadelphia.
According to Flyers Nation, the Flyers are looking to try and recapture some of that old form and are bringing back a jersey that was one of the most popular of all time:
The #Flyers are reportedly changing their home and road uniforms for the 2023-2024 seasonthrowing it back to the 80's and 90's.
They will also switch to the original shade of orange used from 1967-1999.
