The Tampa Bay Lightning were on the verge of making history by becoming the first team since the 80's when the New York Islanders did it, to win 3 straight Stanley Cups, and they would have been the only team to do it in a salary cap era.

Instead, after a hard-fought series, the Tampa Bay Lightning lost to the Colorado Avalanche in 6 games.

To say that the players on both teams in this series though are warriors, would be an understatement. Yesterday it was revealed some of the injuries that the Avalanche players played through, like Burakovsky's broken bones, that's right, multiple, not just one. Also Nichushkins foot injury, and many others as well.

But today it was revealed what injuries the Lightning players were playing through, and the list is LONG!

Brayden Point: "Significant" quad tear
Nikita Kucherov: Meniscus problems
Pierre-Edward Bellemare: Meniscus problems
Anthony Cirelli: AC joint sprain, needs surgery
Ryan McDonagh: Mangled finger
Brandon Hagel: Foot fracture during FLA
Corey Perry: shoulder sprain
Nick Paul: shoulder sprain and sprained MCL (knee).

And this is just what we know so far, we also know that Victor Hedman was dealing with an injury that has yet to be revealed as well.
