The National Hockey League has a 'roster freeze' which is scheduled for today and due to this, teams are working on making some trades before it happens.
We saw earlier that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche exchange some role players in Denis Malgin and Dryden Hunt.
Now three teams decided to work some magic and do a three way trade before the deadline:
These teams involved were the Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings. The players involved were, Michael Del Zotto who went to the Ducks, GIvani Smith who was sent to Florida and Dany O'Regan who was shipped to the Red Wings.
