The Toronto Maple Leafs are having a very good season after a poor start. Despite multiple injuries to the teams defence core, they just keep winning games and chugging along.
They've always been a team blessed with offensive players, but they've had trouble finding consistent defence.
Today the team made a trade with the Colorado Avalanche to bring in a another forward, despite these defence issues..
It has been announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs trade forward Denis Malgin to the Colorado Avalanche in return for Dryden Hunt.
Hunt has played in 28 games between the Rangers and Avalanche this season, and has recorded 2 goals.
Malgin on the other hand has played in 23 games for the Maple Leafs this season and has scored 2 goals and 2 assists.
