If anyone has had poor luck with injuries in his career, it's been Sidney Crosby. Over his career, he has suffered atleast 3 concussions and has missed over 100+ games due to head injuries.
According to The Athletic
Crosby has sustained at least three concussions in his career, has missed 108 regular-season games and one playoff game because of head injuries in the past.
After the hit from Jacob Trouba the other night, Crosby was forced to leave the game and will not be playing in game 6 tonight either.
As I reported on The Point, multiple sources have confirmed Sidney Crosby has a concussion.
Obviously a positive sign he skated this morning, but given the nature of head injuries, it's unfair to speculate when he may return.
If this is a concussion, it would be the 4th of his career that we know of, and while he has been able to remain relatively healthy these past few seasons, we know what happened early in Crosby's career and he missed quite a bit of time and was even considering retirement due to the significance of these injuries.
