In the last few minutes, one of the last major free agents available signed a contract in the NHL.
Dumba Signs a Contract
The defenseman officially reached a deal with the Arizona Coyotes.
Per Elliotte Friedman,
"Hearing Matt Dumba closing in with Arizona, one year at approximately $4M" With the salary cap, not a lot of teams could have afforded him, that's why he opted for a one-year deal with the Coyotes. He's hoping to use his time in Arizona to shine and get a bigger contract next season.
