According to TSN's Darren Dreger there appears to be significant movement in the Jack Eichel trade, which could bring an end to this saga in Buffalo.
Dreger is reporting that both Buffalo and Jack are hopefully that something will be done with one of the teams involved shortly. There has to be some belief that the NHL would like to see a resolution to this after a string of tweets from goaltender, Robin Lehner, brought to light some negative press for the league over the past week.
A quick look at Jack Eichel's personal twitter account also shows his most recent liked tweet is this tweet from Lehner.
Lost in all of this is the players health and hopefully if a trade is completed Jack can get the procedure he so desperately needs so he can get back on the ice hopefully in time for the Olympics.
WHH Instigator feels like the most likely destination at this point remains either Calgary or the New York Rangers where Eichel is likely to be a perfect fit for two teams in need of high level talent at the center position.
This situation is fluid and we will continue to update with any information that becomes available.
