Bruins Forward Shows Just How Close He Was To Losing His Eye
Bruins forward Jakub Lauko suffered a scary injury when he took a skate to the face on Tuesday during the Bruins-Blackhawks game. Today he revealed just how scary it really was.
Lauko Jokes About Injury
The 23-year-old winger has shown a good sense of humor throughout the whole ordeal and this morning he showed that sense of humor again as he posted his first selfie to X since taking a skate to his face.
Here you can see where the cut was and just how swollen his entire eye is. Luckily, Luako got to keep both his eyes and is well enough to laugh about it now. He did suffer a fracture along with the laceration though and he will be out approximately one week as he recovers from the injury. The Bruins have their next game tomorrow when they host the Red Wings.
