Concerning Video Emerges For Bedard
Expecting the world from an 18-year-old is a lot to ask, but being the top draft pick and one of the most hyped prospects to enter the NHL in some time can prove a Herculean task.
That is where Connor Bedard finds himself just 11 games into the season, as the spotlight increases on the young winger with each passing game and those watching begin to question is he is ready for the highest level of professional hockey.
Defense a missing part of Bedard's game
The major sticking point to the argument for demoting Bedard would be in an effort for him to start working on defensive aspects of his game.
Still so young, there has not been any need for the 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward to force focus on that part of the game, until now, where it is tantamount to him rounding into the full-on superstar that many expect him to be.
Through his first 11 games, Bedard has a +/- of -8, but has also contributed 5 goals and 2 assists, though no one is questioning his offensive prowess.
