Corey Perry and the Edmonton OIlers officialized their union last week. The veteran leader even took part in his first game with his new team on Saturday. Even if he failed to put his name on the scoresheet, Perry caught people's attention for a whole other reason.

Perry Spotted Stealing Equipment From Teammates

In a new picture posted on X, we can clearly see that Perry used the gloves of current teammate Dylan Holloway, and the stick of his former teammate with the Montreal Canadiens Josh Anderson.

Perry, known as one of the most supersticious player in the League, proably believes this will help him perform in games. However, in his first outing as an Oiler, he failed to score.

Perry Can Bring a Lot in Edmonton, but Didn't in His First Game

There's no doubt that Perry will play a key role in helping the Oilers win in playoffs. His vast experience, great leadership and talent will be intersting to see alongside top players like Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl.

Perry, in 16 games with the Blackhawks this season, scored 12 points, which is pretty impressive for a 38-year-old player.

In what could be his last NHL season, Perry will leave all he has on the ice to help his teammate win the Stanley Cup.
