Crazy Sequence of Events in a Junior Hockey Game as Players Become Violent
Most junior leagues are very strict regarding player safety as the brain is in a developmental stage and head injuries could cause serious problems later on in life.
The scene at an unknown junior hockey game became scary as players started retaliating for big hits.
While the initial hit was big, it was not necessarily dirty. The player hit originally can be seen chasing the puck afterward while his teammate retaliates on his behalf leading to the goalie coming out of his crease and retaliating against the retaliator.
While this was comedic to watch, it has raised a debate on if this is okay in hockey. Some are arguing that this is good old-fashioned hockey while others are saying there is no place for this in the game. What do you think?
