Ducks Chase De Leo Out Long Term Following Dirty Hit By Kaliyev
The Ducks reported today that forward Chase De Leo will be out approximately eight weeks after suffering a sprained MCL on Tuesday night.
De Leo Out Eight Weeks, Kaliyev Out Four Games
De Leo suffered the injury on a play involving Kings forward Arthur Kaliyev. Kaliyev lunged at De Leo, extending his leg in an extremely dangerous and downright dirty fashion. The Kings forward was given a five minute major on the play and has since been suspended for four games, two in the preseason, and two to start the regular season.
Many fans on Twitter pointed out how unfair it is that Kaliyev only gets four games for a very dangerous play while De Leo will Miss the next two months.
