EMBARRASSING footage going VIRAL of boards ads screwing up again - Player comes out of NOWHERE
This season in an attempt to create some new revenue for the league, the NHL implemented rotating digital ads on the boards of the hockey rinks, and well, so far they've been nothing but annoying.
They do exactly what advertisements are meant to do, catch your eye, the problem is it takes your attention away from the game or in some cases, ruins the game all together.
There were a few screw ups at the beginning of the season with these ads covering up the players and fans began raining hell down upon the NHL but last night there was another one and a player disappeared and randomly popped out again.
We are only a month into the season and it appears fans have already reached their tipping point.
Hey @NHL & @SportsnetI will pay extra money so the new fancy digital boards in NHL games are NOT viewable. If this was your plan, to make hockey hard to watch, it's working. Almost makes me nauseous.
