There's probably never going to be a more touching story in hockey than the one between the Edmonton Oilers and their super fan Ben Stelter.
For those who didn't know Ben Stelter, he was the sweetest 6 year-old boy who loved hockey.
Ben's favourite team was the Edmonton Oilers and his favourite player was Connor McDavid. Unfortunately, Ben had brain Cancer and didn't have much time left on this earth.
The Edmonton Oilers and Captain Connor McDavid would build a special bond with Ben. McDavid would get Upper Deck to get a special card made for Ben and it was distributed at an Oilers home game to the fans.
Yesterday we learned of Ben's passing after his hard fought battle and some so called fans decided that they would cash in on Ben's passing by jumping on EBay and trying to sell Ben Stelter's hockey card for prices as high as $200 dollars.
It is absolutely disgusting that fans are trying to make a profit off the passing of this young man.
R.I.P Ben, play la bomba baby!
