Ekblad suffers scaring looking injury

Last year Aaron Ekblad suffered a season ending injury, and last night it appeared Ekblad may have suffered another significant injury after colliding with teammate Sasha Barkov along the boards.

The incident happened less than 2-minutes into 1st period and Ekblad was clearly in trouble as he attempted to get to the bench. As trainers got to Ekblad he was unable to out any weight on his right leg.

After the game it was reported that Ekblad may have escaped structural damage, but the Panthers plan to update more today.
