It all started last weekend, when the Rangers played against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The NHL decided to put Tommy Hughes as a linesman, a former member of the Rangers organization.
Against Columbus, Hughes overturned two goals in the game.
However, Bettman still decided to put Hughes in another Rangers game.
Tommy Hughes played seven years of pro hockey, including four in Hartford, the Rangers' AHL affiliate.
Even if Hughes didn't have anything to do with the overturned goals in the game against Columbus, it's still a questionable choice.
This whole thing could've been easily avoided if the NHL simply make him work somewhere else...
