The Metis League is a hockey league in Finland, which is considered their second highest level of hockey.
During a game yesterday, two players were racing for the puck in the corner and one delivered a hard check which sent the player in white through the zamboni doors:
The player did not suffer any injuries and was quick to get back to his feet, but the game ended up being delayed over 45 minutes due to them damaging the door and it would no longer latched closed.
They needed to bring in a welder to fix the doors before the game could get back to action.
