Hurricanes Fans Send Racist Comments to Subban
PK Subban made a tweet earlier tonight depicting what he viewed as playoff hockey.
While this is not in good taste from Subban, some Hurricanes fans took things a too far by sending racist remarks to Subban.
Lincoln was the president who freed the slaves. This is a racist remark and never acceptable in hockey.
This tweet simply saying «Ni» is the first two letters of a racial slur. While the person does not outright say the word, there is a heavy implication that almost anybody can understand.
While the majority of Hurricanes fans expressed their disapproval of Subban's tweet with non racist remarks, some had to take it too far. Not a good look for the Hurricanes fanbase.
