Benn Breaks the Silence Regarding His Dangerous Cross-Check Last Night
Jamie Benn was ejected just a few minutes into last night's loss to the Golden Knights. Benn cross-checked Mark Stone in the face on this play which resulted in the ejection.
Today, Benn spoke on the play and his comments were quite disappointing.
This is a terrible excuse because in the footage it can be seen that Benn is not falling and instead pile drives his stick into Stone's face. This was a simple cop-out and truly disgusting that the Stars captain will not be taking accountability for his actions.
This was no mistake. He tried to hurt stone and his actions prove it.
