Jaromir Jagr Hints at NHL Comeback
Jaromir Jagr is the 2nd leading NHL scorer of all time playing with 9 teams throughout his NHL career. Jagr who has played 24 seasons in the NHL and countless more across Europe has not retired from professional hockey and has hinted at a comeback with the Pittsburgh Penguins in a recent post.
While it is unlikely that Jagr returns as a player, he could certainly come back as a coach. With Pittsburgh's manager situation up in the air, the owners have all of the power in team decisions.
Mario Lemieux, Jagr's former linemate and good friend, is still a minority owner of the Penguins and could be pushing for Jagr to get a role in the front office so Jagr can finally retire from playing the sport of hockey.
While he could continue to play, maybe the decades of hockey have taken a toll on his body and he is looking to get a less physically demanding role in the game.
