Jim Montgomery Benches Star Winger After Inexcusable Behavior
Jim Montgomery and the Boston Bruins organization decided to punish one of their star forwards after he was late to a team meeting.
DeBrusk Punished After Missing Team Meeting
Bruins head coach Montgomery announced that Jake DeBrusk won't play tonight because he was late to the team's meeting.
"Per Coach Montgomery, Jake DeBrusk was late to a team meeting and will not play tonight in Los Angeles."
Drafted 14th overall in 2015, DeBrusk scored 50 points last season, including 27 goals.
Since the season started, the 27-year-old winger played three games and haven't been able to put his name on the scoresheet yet.
It's Seguin's Situation All Over Again in Boston
