The Winnipeg Jets have been in the news a lot this summer. Rumors of a looming rebuild have hung over the organization. Several players have been rumored to want out of Winnipeg throughout the summer. Now one of the biggest stars has revealed some big news.
Connor Gets Engaged
Kyle Connor recently announced that he is engaged to his girlfriend Ally Petack.
The couple have been seen on Kyle's Instagram enjoying the offseason relaxing on the lake. With his newfound love of his life, Connor will be returning back to the Jets in the coming weeks.
Connor Looking Bounce Back in 2023-24
Heading into the 2023-24 NHL season Kyle Connor will be one of the few key players to reportedly be content with his situation. Connor is coming off of a season in which he played 82 games and scored 31 goals.
This production was a major drop off from his 47-goal 93-point season the year prior. Connor is still young and full of talent so a bounce back is pretty likely. However, if the Jets and Connor continue to struggle it might not be long before he starts looking for ways out of Winnipeg.
