The Toronto Maple Leafs find themselves in a tough spot after losing their first two games of the second-round series to the Florida Panthers.
Now, the Leafs will have to battle for their playoff lives during Sunday's pivotal Game Three. However, it seems that the pressure is getting to the Leafs, especially goaltender Ilya Samsonov.
Samsonov Felling The Pressure
During the Leafs' practice today, after being scored on by captain John Tavares, Samsonov snapped, slamming his goalie stick into the post. Samsonov has been outplayed by Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, and it's obviously getting to him.
After Game Two, when Samsonov was asked about how well Bobrovsky has been playing, he told the media: "
"I don't give a fu#k"
Clearly you do Samsonov, but if the Leafs are going to have any chance of coming back in this series they are going to need Samsonov to be on top of his game.
