Bob possessed unquestionable toughness and incredible pride in being a Toronto Maple Leaf. His inspirational presence continues to embody the heart of the game. He will be greatly missed by the team and its fans. Our thoughts are with Bob's loved ones during this difficult time. - Brendan Shanahan
Baun's Cup Winning Legacy
Baun was a 4-time stanley cup champion with the leafs, playing with the franchise from 1956-1967 and then again from 1970-1973. He scored 37 goals and 187 assists in 964 career games.
Baun was notorious for his toughness. Despite standing at 5 foot 9, he was a hard-nosed defenseman who racked up over 1400 minutes in penalties during his career.
