After what seemed like a whirlwind of months for Marc-Andre Fleury, getting traded to Chicago from Vegas, considering retirement, deciding to play, rumours of being traded from Chicago, telling the team he would like to stay, then finally getting traded from the Blackhawks to the Minnesota Wild, Fleury last night picked up his first win in a Wild uniform.
On March 21st Fleury was traded from Chicago Blackhawks to Minnesota Wild for conditional round 1 pick in the 2022 draft.
Last night the Minnesota Wild played the Columbus Blue Jackets and Fleury stopped 23 out of 25 shots to push the Wild to a 3-2 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
From the look of the excitement and love of all the Wild teammates for Fleury after the victory, it looks like Fleury is going to love his new home in Minnesota.
