The Anaheim Ducks far exceeded everyone's expectations this year and fought hard this season and are currently only sitting 4 points out of a playoff spot. But with the team getting older and them wanting to hand the reins over to players like Trevor Zegras, it looks like the team is considering moving on from two players who have been in the organization for awhile.
Both Rakell and Lindholm are on expiring contracts, both are 28 and UFA's, they could make perfect rental players for teams looking to make a deep playoff push.
With the Manson deal being done today, the Ducks showed they are willing to retain salary on players. So this could be a big bonus for a team like the Leafs who are looking for help on the back end.
