NHL Slips Up and Reveals a Team's New Captain
The Arizona Coyotes have had a rough few years out in the desert, with last season being no exception, but there was one bright light during another tough season.
A new captain in the desert
That bright light was Clayton Keller, who led this team offensively and grew naturally into a leadership role, and now it appears the team has agreed with that, as they are naming him the new captain.
So that move came with a grand, official announcement from the struggling Coyotes franchise, right? Wrong.
A big time leak from the NHL
During their latest piece on Keller, NHL.com have now spoiled the forwards impending captaincy, and with all the issues in Arizona, it's safe to say this is a great choice.
With a career high 86 points in all 82 games last year, Keller was the driving force of the success this team did have on the ice, and with a fantastic young core coming through, he's the right man to lead them forward.
