Last night the New York Rangers hosted the New Jersey Devils in what finished as a 5-3 wins for the Devils.
It was 'Hockey Fights Cancer' night for the Rangers and they gave this incredible fighter, 12 year old Brody Kuenzler who is a huge Rangers fan, an incredibly touching ceremony pre-game.
Kuenzler joined with his mother, walked to center ice to do the ceremonial puck drop for the Rangers captain Jacob Trouba and Devils captain Nico Hischier. After the puck drop, the announcer informed him to ''ring the bell'' that signifies he is now CANCER FREE!
I cannot wait for the day that we find a cure for this horrible disease.
