The New York Rangers made an uneventful early exit from this year's playoffs and with a team desperate for some playoff success, they could be looking to make a move.
Rangers to Trade Goodrow, Leafs Might Have Interest
It was recently reported that the New York Rangers are trying to move Barclay Goodrow, and with his contract being what it is, it might cost them.
If the Rangers added a pick or two on top of Goodrow to move his contract, the Leafs might have interest. Goodrow has playoff pedigree and brings some much-needed grit and experience to a Leafs lineup that sorely lacks both.
The Leafs could get their potential 3C while also gaining some draft capital and could help reinforce next year's playoff push.
