Apparently Ken Holland has been in contact with Mike Babcock, at least acording to one Twitter page who claims to have a source inside the Oilers organization.
"Can confirm that Holland has been in contact with Mike Babcock. Not too sure in what capacity or about what exactly. But one has to assume that it's about a possible coaching change. There's been no word on Woodcroft. #Oilers"
The Oilers have lost 7 of their last 10 and are currently on a 6 game losing streak. Things would be much worse if it wasn't for the Oilers powerplay as well which has been out of this world.
Dave Tippett the current Oilers coach is in the final year of a 3 year contract. This is something to watch as the Oilers slide out of a playoff spot and have the imposed McDavid deadline previously given to Holland.
