Puljujarvi Reportedly Ready to Ditch the NHL For Europe
Jesse Puljujarvi, the fourth overall pick at the 2016 draft, didn't have the career he hoped he would have in the NHL.
After a few bad seasons in Edmonton, fans were happy to see him get a fresh start with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Unfortunately, it didn't go so well over there either.
Puljujarvi to Play in Europe?
It's rumored that Puljujarvi will leave the NHL this summer, if the Hurricanes don't give him a new contract.
He'll be UFA on July 1st, and if no other team gives him a chance, he'll probably move his career to Europe or the KHL.
"Jesse Puljujarvi is unlikely to receive a qualifying offer from the Hurricanes, and will likely become an unrestricted free agent. Per, Frank Seravalli.
There is belief Puljujarvi's time in the NHL is done, and he will begin searching for opportunities in Finland, or the KHL."
