When the Boston Bruins signed Mitchell Miller last Friday, one of the big topics was the fact that the Bruins did not reach out to the family of the Miller's victim to see how they felt before making the signing.
On Monday after the Bruins tried to terminate Miller's contract, the President of the Boston Bruins Cam Neely said he intended on speaking with the family regarding this matter and was going to do some internal investigations as to why he wasn't done in the first place.
While the right thing was not done immediately, Cam Neely has been doing everything in his power to right this wrong, which includes a conversation with the family.
Joni Meyer-Crothers said that Cam Neely reached out to her, as he said he would. She said that he apologized and they had a nice 45 minute conversation
