Today three more names have been placed on waivers for the purpose of sending them to the American Hockey League.
Nikita Zaitsev has been a regular on the Ottawa Senators since being traded over from the Toronto Maple Leafs, but after a slow start to this season the Ottawa Senators have put him on waivers.
After spending last season in Detroit, Magnus Hellberg signed with the Ottawa Senators this year, but after one game where he put up some great numbers, the Senators need to free up the space after the return of Cam Talbot, so Hellberg has been placed on waivers.
Mike Reilly has bounced around between a few NHL teams, but has always been known as a steady defenceman. The Boston Bruins need to free up space as their star defenceman Charlie McAvoy is close to returning, so unfortunately Reilly was the odd man out:
Of the three players placed on waivers, Mike Reilly is the one most likely to be claimed.
