REPORT: Corey Perry's NHL Career May Not Be Over Yet
Corey Perry has always had a somewhat questionable reputation, but that has mostly pertained only to things that happen on the ice. Now his off-ice reputation has taken a hit as well, but that might not stop an NHL team from signing the sudden free agent forward.
Serravalli: Multiple NHL Teams Interested In Signing Perry
NHL insider Frank Serravalli hinted today on the Real Kyper & Bourne show that Corey Perry may find himself back in the NHL sooner than we might have thought. According to him, multiple teams may be interested in signing the 38-year-old.
Seravalli on Real Kyper & Bourne: «I think there's actually been a couple of teams in the last 24-48 hrs that may be interested in adding a player like Corey Perry, so I think there's a lot left to be written here»
Speculation as to what Perry's next destination will be is already in full-swing.

Perry Could Fight Contract Termination With Blackhawks
Of course, Perry can still fight the contract termination if he believes it was not justified. He has 60 days to make a decision. So far we have not heard anything from Perry's camp regarding this possibility, but it has been brought up by the hockey media.
TSN legal analyst Eric Macramalla added some context to this possibility by noting that the standard of proof for a contract termination is 'very high.' This means the team is either certain they are within their rights to terminate his deal, or Perry could have a legit chance at fighting it.
I joined @TSNJR and @TSNSteveLloyd n @TSN1200 to talk Corey Perry termination, including my theory as to the basis for the termination, how this was handled by the Hawks and what's next.
What will come next for Perry is still unknown, but it is certainly an interesting story to follow.
