REPORT: David Krejci Makes Final Decision On His Future
David Krejci has spent his entire 16-year NHL career with the Boston Bruins. Reports are circulating that his illustrious career is coming to an end and he will retire sometime in the near future.
Krejci Synonymous With Boston
David Krejci embodies what it means to be a Boston Bruin. In his career with the Bruins Krejci reached a high of 73 points in the 2008-09 season. He was also an assistant captain for his last 9 seasons with the Bruins.
Where Krejci really shined is when the lights were the brightest in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He twice led the league in playoffs. The first time was in 2011 when the Boston Bruins would go on to win the Stanley cup. The second time came in a finals run that was abruptly ended by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Krejci Makes Czechia Proud
David Krejci wasn't only successful in the NHL but on the international stage as well. He played a total of 30 world championship games totaling 25 points and winning several medals. At the Olympics, Krejci played 14 games and accumulated 10 points.
One More Run?
Rumors indicate that Krejci while he may not play with a team in 2023-24 may still make one more international appearance at the World Championships with Czechia in 2024.
Per an NHL source, longtime #NHLBruins center David Krejci will announce his retirement from the NHL and hockey in general 'very soon' but could still represent Czechia in the 2024 World Championships. - @MurphysLaw74
