Maxim Denezhkin was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers back in 2019 in the 7th round of the NHL Entry Draft.
This week in a game, Denezkin gave Yevgeni Bodrov a shove from behind, which sent him flying into the boards. This shove put him off balance enough that he went leg first into the boards, causing the break.
prospect Maxim Denezhkin suspended 10 games for this hit.
He was originally suspended 3 games, then after considering the seriousness of the injury, the Sports and Disciplinary Committee added 7 more games.
