One of the teams with the most riding on this upcoming season is the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Years after year of first round playoff exits, not only are the Maple Leafs at risk of blowing up the roster, Kyle Dubas and Sheldon Keefe's jobs are also on the line.
The team has very high expectations with having some of the best young players in the game, but the compete level is not always there. We've also seen quite often the team have a lack of physicality, which is definitely something that is needed come playoff time.
During today's practice, according to Mark Masters and Jonas Siegel, Keefe got very frustrated with the players and stopped practice to demand more from them.
The Maple Leafs head coach stopped their practice suddenly today and demanded «a lot more» from the group. He stopped it shortly after again, angry with what he was seeing, and had the entire team do sprints for the remainder.
Reporters are saying it's up there for the angriest they've ever seen Sheldon Keefe. 😳
