Bruins May Terminate Lucic After Acquiring Maroon
Recently, Boston Bruins reporter Jimmy Murphy dropped some major news regarding the Bruins' newest trade target, Pat Marron.
«I'm starting to hear [Pat Maroon's] name out there. He doesn't fit in with [John] Hynes' up-tempo style and hasn't brought everything they wanted when they traded for him.»
The Wild's new head coach John Hynes does have a different system he plays which does not work to the benefit of Maroon's strengths. However, Jim Montgomery's system could have Maroon thrive.
How Maroon Replaces Lucic
Maroon, like Lucic, is a hard-hitting forward who brings energy every single shift. He may not be the best at finding the back of the net but Maroon can score. At the moment, he has 3 goals and 11 points through 26 games. He also has 20 PIMs showing he is willing to get physical if need be.
If the Bruins do move for Maroon, Lucic's presence becomes obsolete and could be the last straw for his time in Boston.
