Ryan Reaves Sends A Scary Threat To His Old Teammates
Ryan Reaves joined the Maple Leafs this past offseason and is ready to prove his allegiance to his new team.
Reaves Threatens The Wild
This past offseason Ryan Reaves left the Minnesota Wild in favor of joining the Toronto Maple Leafs on a three-year contract. This move was seen as one of Brad Treliving's statement contracts by giving Reaves a contract he cannot refuse to build a more physical team.
Reaves and the Leafs are set to play the Wild tonight and Reaves is ready to bring his physicality. He said this today in an interview putting the Wild on notice.
«Sometimes when you're better friends with them, you want to lay them out a little more. Unfortunately for them, I became pretty good friends with all of them.» - Ryan Reaves
This highlights Reaves' larger-than-life personality and lets the Wild know he will not let up on them despite his relationship with the team.
Reaves already has gotten into his first fight of the year after going toe to toe with Arber Xhekaj and getting steamrolled over the net in a rare loss.
Hopefully for the Wild, they don't do anything that will tick off Reaves and spark a fight as they do not have somebody who can bring the level of physicality that Reaves can.
