Sharks to place Kane on waivers

The end of Evander Kane's tenure in San Jose might be beginning. It is rumoured that the Sharks will place the controversial winger on waivers.
Kane who completed serving a 21 game suspension to begin the season is in his 4th year of a 7 year contract with a cap hit of 7 million dollars per season.
It is expected Kane will pass through waivers and be assigned to the San Jose Barracuda.
The Sharks have continued to try and find a trade for Kane who they are reportedly willing to retain half his salary during a trade.
