TRADE ALERT: Anaheim Ducks TRADE for Caulfield

While the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League trade deadlines have past, there are still trades that can be made in the NHL.
These trades though cannot affect an NHL roster for the post-season, which this trade involves two players who are not in the NHL.
Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager Ron Hextall has officially announced that the Penguins have acquired defenseman Thimo Nickl in exchange for Judd Caulfield.
Nickl has been playing over in Europe in the Swedish league for AIK, while Caulfield has just completed his career at the University of North Dakota:
