The 2022-23 National Hockey League trade deadline was on March 3rd this year, and after this day, no trading can be made that will affect the NHL rosters.
So when trades are made post-deadline, these players involved are not eligible for the NHL playoffs.
Yesterday the National Hockey League announced that the Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues had made a post-deadline trade:
The #Preds have acquired forward Anthony Angello from #StlBlues for future considerations. Anthony Angello, is a former 5th round pick of the Nashville Predators back in 2014. The 27-year old has played in 31 NHL games throughout his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This year, he has played in the Blues organization for the Springfield Thunderbirds where he has recorded 6 goals and 5 assists in 45 games.
