Back in 1993, the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL started the ''Teddy Bear Toss'' which encourages people to toss a bear onto the ice, which then gets donated to a local hospital.
The Hershey Bears have been doing this tradition for awhile, but this year didn't exactly go as planned.
The game ended up being a 2-0 shutout for the Bridgeport Islanders so with 5 seconds left in the game, the fans just started tossing the bears on the ice. Instead of waiting for the Teddy Bears to get cleaned up and playing the final 5 seconds of the game, the referee's just decided to call the game.
