For most people it would be a dream come true to finally make it to the NHL and that is the case for this prospect who has been fighting for years now to be a full time player after being a highly touted draft prospect. 23 year old Cody Glass was drafted 6th overall in the 2017 NHL draft the Vegas Golden Knights and has played a total of 74 NHL games over the past 3 seasons, including 8 last year with the Nashville Predators.
At the beginning of the 2022-2023 NHL season Glass was told by Predators GM David Polie that he had made the team and his reaction is quite touching and inspiring.
The Predators have their home opener this Friday, October 7 against the San Joe Sharks at 2pm, where Glass will get to further prove himself after working hard this past summer to make the team.
Nashville finished 5th in their division last year winning 45 of 82 contests, and will look to improve on their record this year, hoping Glass can make a contribution.
